How to enter Beta program of android app

          

        

           Hi friends, while studying I have come across concept of Beta tester for testing apps where the special end users test the apps for developers and give feedback for developers. There is similar concept in android development where developers provide app for testing to users.

         There are many advantage of beta tester like getting new features before they are available to others. While disadvantage are, since the app is in testing stage there may be many bugs in app,the app can crash or can be unstable.

          So now let's see how to enter beta program
           Firstly you should know package name of apk
            Go to Google Play Store, from browser search and open your desired Android app. Now see the link in the address bar. I decided to open the link of “whatsapp” app. It’ll look like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whatsapp Here the Package name of “WhatsApp” Android app is com.whatsapp
             Almost all the Android application package names will begin with “com”.
             After finding package name just copy the package name and paste besides the link given below and press enter
             https://play.google.com/apps/testing/"paste package name"
 Example :- https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.whatsapp
             You will see the below window just click BECOME A TESTER and you will receive beta versions

             And after few days you will also see Beta tab on play store which will show all apps for which you are a tester

             Make sure that you are signed in with google account on the browser similar to play store account. Also all apps are not available for beta testing
             After some days you will also notice button to join beta program on playstore for every available program app

 Similarly you can also leave the program.
